Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration; providing end-user support and training for hardware and software and collaborating with the Technology Leadership team to ensure operational security, maintenance, and governance. Support 3rd party applications and enterprise infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical and operational support of Microsoft 365 tenant and applications including, but not limited to, Office, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager, OneDrive for Business, Power Apps, Azure AD, and other cloud services.
  • Monitor, analyze and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging M365 and related core technologies; stay up to date and well-in-the-know regarding M365 updates and roadmaps
  • Install, integrate, and configure various operating systems and applications
  • Identify and analyze business and technical requirements
  • Be responsible for monitoring various application dashboards and troubleshooting alerts and notifications from various systems.
  • Perform regular network and system monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing any identified or end user reported issues
  • Utilize enterprise ticket management system for problem resolution, evidence capture, and trend analysis
  • Assess, triage and provide tier II and III support on various technology related issues.
  • Support product owners in the implementation of any new software/systems



Must Haves

  • Ability to independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical business and executive leaders
  • 2 years’ min experience working with M365 services, both functionally and technically
  • Understanding of how M365 technologies are applied within an enterprise organization

  • Familiarity with enterprise security and information protection tools, Azure Identity services (Azure AD), rights management
  • Intermediate to Advanced PowerShell experience
  • Adaptability, Attention to detail, Stress tolerance
  • Ability to reach, lift, feel, grasp, type and use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to support flexible work hours to support various mission objectives
  • Ability to travel to our other Blue Ridge Power facilities to support mission objectives as needed

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree or Technical certificate. Verifiable military training may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Microsoft certifications in relevant areas are strongly desired (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, etc.)
